VOYAGE.

I don’t have any of my childhood photo … 

I have a few since my 20’s.

Now that I’m approaching 50, it feels like I’ve never existed.

there is no proof of me as a child, how I was, what colours I was wearing, which toy was my favourite … Did I live those moments? 

With this series I wanted to be in the pictures as a sign, ‘I was there’, to anchor myself in my reality, these moments.

I am the witness of my personal and photographic journey. 

I aim to start peeling back my own layers, start to understand and accept myself, what I look like, who I am in this world. 

It was taken over the course of a year, from august 2019 to October 2020, during travels.
